Hey there! I'm Mel... the baby whisperer and face behind Mel Copeland Photography.
Before we begin, I suggest visiting my instagram or looking through my portfolios to make sure we are a good fit for each other. My style is rustic and natural with deep shadows, and I use a lot of neutrals, pastels and muted colours. I use simple setups to keep the focus on baby. All props and accessories are supplied. For safety reasons, please do not bring any items or props from home.
Newborn sessions are held in my cozy studio located in Orillia, ON.
The best time to photograph your baby is between 5-15 days after birth while they are still very sleepy and easy to pose. Older babies up to 3-4 weeks (who have not been pre-booked) can be accommodated if I have availability.
I take a limited amount of sessions per month to ensure your spot on my calendar when baby arrives. Best time to book is during your second trimester. xo
