First, let's talk about why you should invest.

Babies grow in the blink of an eye, and the journey into motherhood can be foggy when you're sleep deprived and settling into the your beautiful new role as a mama. The days blend into each other and soon you'll be looking through old photos on your phone and thinking to yourself, where did the time go?! But you can't go back and the memory of your baby's newness will fade as time goes on. This is where I come in... I will capture the essence of your little miracle and turn it into art so you can remember the feeling of the most important days of your life. To me, that's one of the best gifts you could ever receive.

Why you should hire a professional newborn photographer.

Invest in a photographer who has experience and training over "the best bang for your buck". This is your precious new baby we're dealing with and you should be hiring someone who has experience handling newborns - safely. If money is swaying your decision, I have payment plans available. I'm gonna get real and honest for a moment: Please do not hire someone without experience or training just to save money and potentially put your baby at risk of injury. My business is fully licensed and insured and I have 7+ years experience and countless hours of online mentoring from some of the top newborn photographers in the industry. When you invest in me, you're investing in the knowledge and experience I've gained over the years. I live and breathe newborn photography.

Safety is always number one and I will handle your baby with gentleness and care. During your session, I may ask for a second set of hands with certain poses.

Most of my props are from professional newborn prop vendors and are tested for safety. No outside props are allowed.

Important things to know.

$200 retainer fee is due to book your session and goes towards the package of your choice. Remaining balance is due at your session.

Newborn sessions are held in my cozy studio located in Orillia, ON. All props, accessories and maternity dresses are included.

I take a limited amount of sessions per month to ensure availability when baby arrives and to give my clients the best experience. Please book your session 2-3 months in advance.

The best time to photograph your baby is between 5-15 days after birth while they are still very sleepy and easy to pose. Older babies up to 3-4 weeks (who have not been pre-booked) can be accommodated if I have availability.

We accept debit, credit, and cash payments. All prices subject to HST. All sales are final. Prices subject to change at any time.

The booking process.

Once you’ve settled on a package, the booking process is as follows:

You’ll receive a booking invoice for deposit, which reserves your due date on my calendar… and THEN… once baby arrives you’ll message me and we’ll set a date for your session (ideally within the first 2 weeks).

Maternity sessions are booked between 28-34 weeks. Once your deposit is paid, I will give you some dates to choose from. Please book early on in your second trimester to ensure availability.

Maternity

Embrace the feminine beauty of pregnancy. Camera shy? Me too... put your trust in me and I will direct you into every pose using beautiful lighting and flattering angles. Artistically edited and enhanced with modest body shaping and skin smoothing to make you feel like the queen you are.

Fine Art Studio or Outdoor (May through September) at golden hour. Maternity gowns included. Choose your images via online proofing gallery. Starting at $595 +hst.

Baby Milestones

I love watching my little clients grow! Capture your little one's personality with a milestone session at 6-8 months and/or celebrate their first birthday with a simple and timeless cake smash. Choose your images via online proofing gallery. Starting at $395 +hst.

Book Your Session!

When should I book my newborn session?: The ideal time to book your newborn session is in your second trimester to ensure a spot on my calendar. I take a very limited amount of sessions per month so I can give my clients the best experience. Your due date will be reserved on my calendar, and once baby arrives we will book your session date.
When is the best time to photograph my baby?: The ideal time to photograph is between 5-15 days after birth while baby is still very sleepy and easy to pose.
Newborn safety: I am a qualified and accredited newborn photographer with years of experience and training. You can rest assured knowing that your baby will be in good hands. Safety of my clients comes first above any pose. Your baby is the boss and he/she will let me know if they are not comfortable with a certain pose and we will move on.
Do you provide all props and accessories?: Yes, I have everything we need for your newborn session. Props, wraps, backdrops, headbands, hats, and accessories. I've been collecting props for years, it's a bit of an addiction.
When is the best time to photograph maternity?: The ideal time to photograph a maternity is between 30-34 weeks of pregnancy while mom is still comfortable and feeling good.
Do you provide maternity gowns?: Yes, I have a beautiful curated collection of gowns made just for maternity clients.
Where is the studio located?: My studio is located in Orillia, Ontario and is by appointment only.
Do you offer professional print products?: I offer a selection of beautiful heirloom products including wall art: metal, wood and canvas prints, albums, matted prints and more. These products are professionally hand-crafted and not available to the general public. You can view samples of all the products in studio at your session.
